Description

Overview

The Vent Axia ACM100T has long been regarded as the industry standard for inline fans. Vent Axia's superb build quality marries very high extraction rates with extremely low noise levels. Indeed the ACM100T is the quietest inline fan available. The 17104020 model, features an integral over-run timer, set upon install, from 6 to 25 minutes.

The ACM utilises a 'mixed-flow' impeller, allowing it to develop much higher air pressures in the chassis. This makes it considerably more powerful than an equivalent axial fan (about 2.5 times the extraction rate) and means that it push air along longer duct runs - up to 10m.

We also really like the rotatable chassis which is extremely compact and lightweight and is perfect for installation above the bathroom, even in tight loft spaces or ceiling voids.

I wanted a fan that would do the job of clearing the effects of showering
and this fan works well.
i have used solid pipe in the loft to the outside wall rather than the flexi
one.
i had to adjust the speed to lowest setting as was a bit to noisy on full
the noise now is more acceptable

An excellent fan. Hugely powerful & really quiet running (fitted on a dedicated board in the loft dampened with anti vibration pads).
Speedy delivery from Extractor Fan World. Bravo !

Excellent fans

I've bought several of these for my previous house and now my current house. They're so much better than the usual bathroom extractors and keep the windows/mirrors steam free and help to reduce overall moisture levels in the house. Straightforward to fit and very quiet.

Extractor Fan

Fan replaced the existing failed unit, giving all the same functions, but it was a much cheaper unit.

Quiet

Does exactly what it says. Found the wiring a wee bit fiddly but that might just be me. Runs smooth and quiet, happy with purchase.

Bigger than my old unit and needs thinking about where it is getting fitted.

Had to fit in to an existing installation where an identical unit had failed.

Fitting was easy. However whilst the setup instruction for the run on timer states it is factory set to around 15 minutes. This was not the case as it ran for only around only 3 minutes. After some trial and error, I managed to reset it to 10/12 minutes.

I am a big fan

Easy to install, good build quality, and excellent extraction. Nosier than expected, but not terrible. Plus, I have calculated that this fan can deal with over 22 bowel movements an hour from my bathroom, so I am a very happy customer.

Powerful and long lasting

These are great fans. Capable of removing steamy air very quickly without a lot of noise. I bought this one to replace the same model, but 25 years old. Not much has changed apart from the timer board and the metal baseplate and clamping rings which have been replaced with plastic components. I hope this one lasts as well.
