Single Room dMVHR Units

Single room or decentralised Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (dMVHR) is a ventilation system designed for use in individual rooms or spaces within a building. These systems work in a similar way to larger MVHR systems, but they are designed to provide ventilation for a single room rather than the entire building.

The system usually consists of a small ventilation unit installed in the room or space, which can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. The unit draws in fresh air from outside and filters it before supplying it to the room. At the same time, the unit extracts stale air from the room and transfers the heat to the incoming fresh air using a heat exchanger. This helps to maintain a comfortable temperature while also reducing energy consumption.

Single room dMVHR systems are particularly useful in small apartments or houses where space is limited, and they can also be used to provide additional ventilation in rooms with high levels of moisture, such as bathrooms and kitchens.
