Heat recovery can help to reduce the overall energy consumption of the process itself, or provide useful heat for other purposes. This Vent Axia heat recovery unit, the Tempra P, has the following features:

- Use as a continuous running MEV unit with heat recovery or standard extractor fan with heat recovery
- Nearly 75% of the heat from the extracted air is fed back into the fresh incoming air.
- Will replace any standard 4 inch extractor fan
- Variable flow rates allows for quiet, low speed continuous rates or high speed intermittent boost rates.
- Very quiet. On 'trickle' setting it is virtually silent.
- Low energy consumption exceeds Building Regulations Part L, Conservation of Fuel and Power.
- Complies with Building Regulations Part F 2010: mechanical extract ventilation.
- Summer Setting helps keep dwelling cool by closing off the intake from outside.
