Shipping policy

Our aim is that all stock items ordered before 4pm Monday to Friday are dispatched on the same day, for delivery the next working day. This does exclude some of the more remote Welsh, Northern Ireland, and Scottish Highland postcodes, which are usually delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note that if an item in your order has a lead time, the order will be shipped in full once all items are available. If you require a product urgently, we suggest that you contact us first to ensure we have the appropriate stock levels.

Delivery Charges

Delivery to mainland UK is £4.99.
Delivery to the Highlands, Northern Ireland & Isle of Man is £18.60.
Delivery to the Channel Islands is £15.60 - the website will automatically remove VAT from your order total once you have added your delivery address.

Delivery Exceptions

Deliveries cannot be made to PO Box addresses and we strongly advise against requesting delivery to hotels, workplaces, multiple occupancy premises, or third-party couriers. Any such orders are entirely at the risk of the customer. Electric World cannot accept any liability for these orders if they fail to arrive or are damaged upon receipt. We will, however, do what we can to help out.

Please note: if your order does not arrive within the expected shipping time, please contact us immediately. We have a 14-day window to raise lost shipments with DPD to allow them to investigate and either find or refund the lost item. Beyond this timeframe, regrettably, we will not be able to refund or replace lost shipments. Please keep us up to date if Items still do not arrive to avoid disappointment. Any loss that occurred during delivery will be replaced or refunded once the courier has completed their investigation and the lost items are either found and returned to us or declared lost by the courier. The courier may contact you directly for information pertaining to their investigation. If they do not receive a response, the investigation will be ended, and no replacement or refund will be honoured.

Payment Information

We accept all major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro & PayPal. We use a well-known and widely used UK payment provider called Opayo for the transferring of transaction details in the checkout process. This means that no information submitted during this process can be examined, used, or modified by any unauthorised third parties.
