Overview

The Vent Axia Sentinel is a high performance, feature rich whole house heat recovery unit. Supplying fresh air, offering improved climate control and up to 94% heat recovery, the Sentinel also saves energy and money by reducing heating and ventilation usage.

The FH model is available in both right hand (408167) and left hand (408169) versions. It features an integrated digital controller for simple and accurate commissioning, plug and play wireless control, volt free inputs, self diagnosis for easy and immediate fault finding and an adjustable delay timer.

Typical of Vent Axia's products, the Sentinel is an extremely robust unit. The easily accessible heat recovery cube is protected by two removable EU3 filters. Ventilation is handled by two low energy fans which are driven by DC motors. These ensure long life (typically over double the life of AC motors) and extremely low energy use. The Sentinel's housing is fully insulated with a built in condensation drain.

The Sentinel Kinetic meets the latest requirements of the Building Regulations Document F 2010 for whole house system ventilation: System 4, continuous mechanical supply and extract with heat recovery. All Sentinel models have 3 fully adjustable speeds and a purge setting. On the front of the unit is a digital controller that can be used to pre-set the speeds to any required air-flow within the performance range.

The Sentinel Kinetic models can be mounted vertically in a roof space, hallway cupboard or kitchen or within a kitchen cupboard. When mounted in an unheated area ducting and MVHR unit should be insulated. Ducting can be attached to the unit horizontally, vertically or both. The minimum internal depth of kitchen cupboard: V, B & BH models 290mm.

Left (L) or right (R) hand installation. The unit is supplied with duct spigots to outside on the right-hand side. These can be reversed on site by simply removing the control panel, rotating the unit 180 degrees and re-attaching the control panel.
