Designed for use in larger properties with floor areas up to 275m² the HRX2D delivers up to 406m3/hr extraction, a carbon busting 94% heat recovery and offers an extremely low SFP of 0.61w/l/s. Compact and extremely light weight it is usually installed in the loft, airing cupboard or utility room.

Extracting stale air and moisture and replacing it with warmed fresh air, the HRX2D improves air quality, whilst reducing heating costs by transferring the heat from expelled air to the fresh incoming air via a polystyrene heat exchanger. this technology results in an energy efficiency of up to 95%.

Delivering up to 113L/s air extraction the HRX2D can handle the demands of a kitchen and up to seven bathrooms. Commonly used in domestic settings it is often specified in large houses.

Incorporating AMIE (Air Management for Indoor Environments) technology, the HRX2D can be controlled by the remote 'Blue Brain' control unit, which offers a host of features and makes commissioning much simpler.

The HRX2D energy saving performance exceeds Building Regulations (2010) Parts F and L, incorporating several user friendly features that maximise system performance such as 'Summer Bypass' which controls the heat level during warmer months, essentially turning the heat exchange unit off, so that incoming air is not warmed further.
