200mm Fire-Rated Supply Diffuser

Overview

This 8-inch/200mm supply valve is designed for use with PIV systems installed in homes with 3 or more storeys to protect stairwells and escape routes in the event of a fire. The grilles include an intumescent material that gives a 60-minute fire rating in solid timber joist floor/ceiling constructions and a 30-minute fire rating in I-Beam and metal web joist floor/ceiling constructions, meeting the requirements of Approved Document B of the UK Building Regulations.

The valves are constructed from white epoxy finished steel and are supplied complete with a bayonet action fixing frame. This allows positive locking and sealing of the valve, yet still enables easy removal for adjustment or cleaning.

The valve profile is designed to eliminate fouling of adjacent decorated surfaces. The central core is adjustable and offers a wide range of settings to meet specific system designs.
