110mm Condensation Trap

FOR USE WITH 110mm SOLID DUCTING - This condensation trap will fit our Through Roof Kits and standard soil pipe. Not for use with 100mm ducting.

The Manrose 1440 is a 4 inch / 110mm condensation trap is used on installations requiring long vertical duct runs - such as when installing an inline duct fan or centrifugal fan - in which condensation can form on the inside of the ducting due to the difference in temparature between the inside and outside of the duct, caused by the warm, moist extracted air.

A condensation trap prevents condensed water from running back down the duct towards the fan. This undesirable situation can occur when the ducting is situated in cold or unheated areas such as lofts and can be particularly problematic if the duct run is mounted vertically - for example if the duct is going straight up through the loft from the bathroom ceiling to a roof grille.
