The Quiet Air range not only looks great but also delivers on extraction rate. At 90m3/hr the QT100 bathroom model sits amongst the most powerful 100mm axial bathroom fans and with an average noise level of 30dB, the Quiet Air certainly lives up to its name. Not only powerful and quiet, it is also very energy efficient, using only 9w on full power and with two-speed options on the range the QT series is a versatile extraction option.
The QT120 Utility room and QT150 Kitchen fan models are no slouches either at 170 and 260m3/h respectively and also follow the trend, both with low noise levels and low power consumption as well. Featuring an IP45 rated motor, the Airflow QuietAir range can be mounted in zones 1 & 2 in your bathroom or wetroom without the need for a separate 12v transformer. This reduces both product and installation costs which starts saving you money before it’s even installed! The QT range also offers an additional passive backdraft protection shutter as standard on all the models. This adds another trick up the QTs sleeve.
Occasionally, an installation requires a fan with a short spigot and the QT range can be adapted by removing this backdraft shutter section which drops the spigot depth on the QT100 to just 50mm, on the QT120 to 70mm and on the QT150 to 75mm. The range comes in four operating mode options across the 100, 120 and 150 models - Basic on/off, Timer, Humidistat & Timer and PIR movement sensor. The QT100, 120 & 150T units feature an intelligent delay start so that short night time visits to the bathroom won’t trigger the fan.
It also boasts an innovative 'room refresh' function that turns the fan on four times a day to ventilate the room. The over-run timer is adjustable from 6 - 21 minutes. The QT100, 120 & 150HT units also incorporate a humidistat that operates the fan automatically according to the relative humidity of the bathroom - adjustable upon install from 65% - 90% relative humidity. Finally, the QT100, 120 & 150MST units feature an integral PIR (passive infra red) motion sensor and over-run timer. The MST models will operate automatically when someone enters the bathroom and will shut off after a preset period.
