Overview

The Vent-Axia PureAir Home PIV improves indoor air quality and quickly eradicates conditions that lead to mould growth, reducing the risk of health issues in the home. The unit is unobtrusive, near silent running and has low operating costs.

The 479091 features an efficient built-in 500W heater mounted in the unit which increases the ambiant temperature of the air entering the habitable areas. The heater uses a sensor to monitor the temperature in the loft, automatically adjusting the air volume when necessary.

Additionally, resident comfort can be assured through an option to change the temperature at which the unit increases or decreases airflow. The unit will continuously ventilate silently in the background whilst in ‘Trickle’ mode.

The PureAir PIV is lightweight in construction and features a specially developed Lo-Carbon DC fan/motor arrangement which runs quietly and delivers incredibly low running costs.

I have had the fan in use for one week, the condensation and humidity in the property has reduced significantly i am happy with the unit but would not bother buying the unit with a heater as it on gives an occasional boost of heat it’s not worth the extra money the standard model would have been. Ore suitable Verified Purchase

The product does remove moisture and humidity and works as described

Technical support for the item is great!

I original fixed the fan to the joists but was very noisy! Vibration

We ended up hanging it from the rafters which reduced the vibration significantly

The fan has only been installed for 10 days, but already we can notice a difference. The windows in the morning are clear unlike before. It’s probably too early to see if other areas of the house have been benefitted ie the bathroom , ie sealant around bath shower stop getting mouldy, time will tell. One negative you do have to leave internal doors open all the time otherwise the fan cannot have an effect in rooms where the door has been shut Verified Purchase
