Overview

The Tornado STPIVLH Positive Input Ventilation Unit is designed to create a fresher, healthier home by delivering a continuous supply of filtered air from your loft space into the property.
Air is gently introduced through a ceiling-mounted diffuser, typically installed in a hallway or landing, helping to improve indoor air quality while tackling persistent condensation and mould issues.

To maintain comfort throughout the year, the unit features an intelligent temperature control system. When loft temperatures fall below 10°C, an internal heating element activates to gently warm the incoming air. As temperatures rise above 10°C, the heater automatically switches off. For added flexibility, an optional Heater Enable Switch is available, allowing you to manually enable or disable the automatic heater function.

The unit also responds to seasonal temperature changes. Between 19°C and 25°C, airflow is increased by 10% to optimise ventilation performance. During very warm conditions above 25°C, the system will temporarily pause to prevent hot loft air being introduced into the home.

The STPIVLH comes complete with a 200mm ceiling diffuser and all components required for a straightforward installation in the loft above a hallway or landing area.
