Overview

The Airlfow Icon 30 fan is very powerful. With an extract rate of 32 litres a second, it meets the building regulations for bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms.

The Airflow Icon 30 fan is a stunning and stylish extractor fan and has become a modern design classic thanks to its eye-catching iris shutter. The "Eye" of the Airflow Icon opens automatically when the fan is turned on, and closes when turned off, preventing cold back draughts entering the room while also adding a touch of style.

This standard 30 model (72591601) is suitable for installation into zone 3 of the bathroom and offers basic on/off switching. Choose an optional control module to expand the functionality and automation: Pullcord, Timer, Humidity or Motion Sensing options.

Please note: While the Icon 30 uses 4" inch ducting it does require a 6" hole in the wall or ceiling for flush fitting.

Replacement

The original fan was over eight years old. I'd noticed some noise from the fan so i thought it was just a matter of cleaning it. Sorry to say that there was some float on the motor shaft that resulted in the noise. I ordered a direct replacement. The whole installation took around half an hour to complete. This is a very good fan that I would recommend. Prompt delivery from fan world as well.

outstanding fan Verified Purchase

We have had this fan with the module for several years it solved the problem of extracting moist air from an irregular ceilinged bathroom which had had frequent mould. It kept the walls and ceiling pristine until it broke down and we have bought a replacement. The replacement fan with its motion detector, humidistat and timer is doing just as good a job as the original. The property is tenanted.
