4 Inch 'No Resist' Back Draught Grille - White

Seems to let less air into the room via the extractor fan, but does not stop it, so I still need to fill the extractor fan with cotton wool when not using it, to prevent draughts. Live in a very windy exposed place.

had a lot of problem with previous extractor fan but one does a great job only gripe i have is with the flexy ducting it held water and dropped

a few spots of water on floor through fan grill replaced it with solid ducting and bends which insulated with therma wrap does the job perfectly

no noise when the wind blows unlike some with built-in non return flap units. quality item and would recommend

Like: silence; higher quality plastic compared to Manrose.

Would prefer: black; screw slots rather than mere holes to allow for plugs in wall not being perfectly placed; a gasket in what looks like a gasket groove to allow for wall render not perfectly flat; a bit more suitability for 5mm, even 6mm, screws over 100mm long through render, 100mm+ of external insulation and wall plug (not a big problem as the quality plastic allows drilling bigger holes without cracking). Well worth the much higher cost than the very cheap covers and cowls from Sfx & TS

Solved an annoyance for me. I purchased this to replace a grille we had previously with flaps which used to just make a noise by opening and shutting when windy. With this one i have no noise & it's much better at keeping out the draft
