IN-LINE BACKDRAUGHT SHUTTER

The 4 inch In Line Backdraught Shutter for 100mm Ducting prevents cold air entering the duct system and room. It is commonly used with inline mixed flow fans but may be used in conjunction with any 4 inch centrifugal or axial fan too.

Simple and effective backdraft shutter.

This can go in various places in the duct line. I put it just before it exits the building to stop any cold air coming into the duct. Other put it just after the fan. Horses for courses.

Excellent product

When I renewed my bathroom shower extractor I bought one of these and it is well worth the money if only for not hearing the 'flaps' in my old style grille flapping up and down in the wind. A good product I think although I've fitted it in such a way it's pretty easy for me to pop up in the loft once in a blue moon to check it's still moving very easily because if it starts to get 'sticky' it wont be doing the fan motor any good
