The Vent Axia VA100 has a long established reputation as one of the most reliable fans available. Offering 90m3/hr extraction the VA100 has two families: mains 240 voltage for installation in zone 3 of the bathroom and the SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) version (12v) for installation in zones 1 and 2 of the bathroom. The VA100 exceeds the requirement of Building Regulation Document F, of 15 l/s for domestic bathrooms with integral WCs. It is suitable for mounting in wall or ceiling. It may also be used as a window fan the use of window kit 254101 - also available from EFW. Each family offers seven different models to accommodate all installation situations and requirements:

Pull Cord - This allows for 'local' switching. It may either be wired into the lighting circuit or may be connected to a 'permanent live' and switch solely at the fan. This is good for situations where the fan is only required now and again.
Timer - An over run timer keeps the fan running for a certain amount of time after it has been switched off. This ensures all moisture is removed from the bathroom. The timer may be set from 2 to 20 minutes. This is done by the electrician whilst installing the fan.
Humidistat - Detects moisture or 'relative humidity' in the air and operates the fan accordingly. The humidistat is adjustable.
Thermo-Electric Shutters - These shutters open and close electronically when the fan is in use. They prevent cold back draughts from outside when the fan is not in use.
