Overview

The Vent Axia ACM100T has long been regarded as the industry standard for inline fans. Vent Axia's superb build quality marries very high extraction rates with extremely low noise levels. Indeed the ACM100T is the quietest inline fan available. The 17104020 model, features an integral over-run timer, set upon install, from 6 to 25 minutes.

The ACM utilises a 'mixed-flow' impeller, allowing it to develop much higher air pressures in the chassis. This makes it considerably more powerful than an equivalent axial fan (about 2.5 times the extraction rate) and means that it push air along longer duct runs - up to 10m.

We also really like the rotatable chassis which is extremely compact and lightweight and is perfect for installation above the bathroom, even in tight loft spaces or ceiling voids.

Extractor Fan

Fan replaced the existing failed unit, giving all the same functions, but it was a much cheaper unit.

Quiet

Does exactly what it says. Found the wiring a wee bit fiddly but that might just be me. Runs smooth and quiet, happy with purchase.

Bigger than my old unit and needs thinking about where it is getting fitted.

Had to fit in to an existing installation where an identical unit had failed. Verified Purchase

Fitting was easy. However whilst the setup instruction for the run on timer states it is factory set to around 15 minutes. This was not the case as it ran for only around only 3 minutes. After some trial and error, I managed to reset it to 10/12 minutes.
