Excellent Product
Great fan, well manufactured and extremely robust. And so quiet in operation. We have twi fans in a kitchen extraction system and the previous fans sounded like a jumbo jet taking off. These fans you can hardly hear yet they are more powerful and more efficient than the previous fans.

I have a new build property, built just over a year ago so is well insulated. We have dMEV fans in bathrooms and kitchen etc. Those are very low power but hardly extract anything. Good enough for general air changes to keep fresh air coming into the house but totally useless for a shower room or bathroom.
I have an en-suite with a very large fitted mirror (1.5m x 1.5m) which ALWAYS has excessive condensation when using the shower. So bad that water runs down the mirror. I did think about fitting a mirror heater but after extensive research, I decided to look at the ventilation instead. I researched replacement dMEV fans but all of them have really low extract rates, particularly with ducting runs. In my case, around 4-5m.
I decided on this fan as I wanted a 150mm flexible, accoustically insulated duct to get as much air extracted as possible. The duct does fit to a 100mm tile vent at the end but still moves a huge amount of air.
I tested the fan initially on its own and was surprised that it was pretty noisy at full speed. HOWEVER, when fitted with the acoustic ducting, the unit is incredibly quiet - much quieter than the original tiny fan. So when in operation I only hear a slight air noise from the ceiling vent (open as much as possible to get max airflow).
Now when showering, the mirror stays dry and clear or occasionally just a tiny amount of condensation at the top corner away from the extract vent. This clears within about a minute once the shower has stopped. All depends on how cold the mirror is (we keep the bedroom very cold all year around, hence why we had severe mirror condensation).
Excellent fan and is super powerful and quiet. Would really recommend if you fit it properly. I have seen someone else review a similar fan (not this brand though) that had a lot of condensation in the fan itself. You do need to insulate the ducting and make sure the orientation of the fan is good too - if you are running in an unheated space such as a loft (like mine).
Really happy! Only trouble is that now I can see in the mirror how old I’m getting 🤣
